CLINICAL SUPERVISORY PRACTICE WHILST IN TRAINING

In the process of completing the final phases theDiploma in Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychotherapy and Counselling Supervision at the psychotherapy training centre where I obtained my psychotherapy and counselling MA training, Terapia (The Bothy, London.) This diploma complies with UKCP and BACP as well as with the British Association for Play Therapists (BAPT) with regards to registration as Accredited Supervisor upon full completion of the diploma.

As a result of this training I offer trainee clinical supervision services to newly qualified and experienced clinical practitioners and non-clinical professionals who support children, young people and adults.

With more than fourteen years of clinical practice I work with clients under 18 and clients over 18 as well as with families from all backgrounds and set ups.

Settings I have worked in include mainstream and special schools, a London family service and a specialist charity offering therapy. Since 2018 my work includes providing therapy to young and adult clients (and families in the case of under 18s) who are adopted.

Some of the matters I can support practitioners and professionals with regarding their work with children, adolescents, young adults, adults and families are the following: SA; DV; CSA; Emotional Abuse; Neglect; Multiracial and/or Multicultural Experiences; Immigrant and Refugee Experiences: Adoption; Making sense of diagnoses; Cumulative Trauma; Relational Trauma; Racial Trauma/Racism; Experiences of Oppression and Discrimination; Cross-cultural Psychotherapy and Counselling; Childhood Experiences of Parental Mental Health Difficulties; Sexuality; Neurodivergence in Therapy; Fertility Matters; Bereavement and Loss; Attachment Matters; Losing a loved one to suicide; Anti-racist and Anti-oppressive Clinical Practice (therapy, counselling and supervision.)
